    Rubber Insulated Welding Cables is a highly conductive connecting medium which is used to make a highly reliable and thermal resistant connection in between the power transformer and the welding torch. It is made up by using premium quality copper which offers very less resistance to the charge flowing through it to prevent the losses and also minimizes heat generation which ensures longer service life. It is available in various different designs with a single, double and multiple wires.

    Current Rating:
     

    The maximum current ratings of flexible welding cables for different duly cycles are based on an ambient air temperature of 25oC and a maximum conductor temperature of 900. The percentage duly cycles given in the table are based on a cycle time of 5 minutes. The typical duly cycles for various welding processes and applications are as follows:

    • Automobile Welding : upto 100%
    • Semi-automatic welding : 30% to 85%
    • Manual Welding : 30% to 60%
    • Very intermittent or Occasional Welding : upto 20%
